Ugh. The hoops that we have to jump through to enter graduate school can be overwhelming.
“Why can’t graduate programs just accept my GPA and letters of recommendation?” you might ask.
Because, even though these are important parts of the graduate application, they’re not complete measures of who you are and your academic capabilities. To get a better sense of who you are, schools use personal essays or statements, interviews, and standardized tests as well.
Thus, to get accepted into a graduate program we all have to successfully “jump through those hoops.”
I specialize in helping future graduate students (and sometimes future undergraduates), who are usually international applicants, prepare for and assemble their application portfolios for submission to the graduate programs of their choice. This includes preparation for any standardized testing that is required (e.g. GMAT and GRE), the completion of any writing tasks such as short essays or a personal statement, and maybe an interview.
That's a lot to prepare for. Let me help you make sure that you're ready to put together your best possible application portfolio.
